CO-PRODUCTIONS

 

The reason we feel that co-productions are important is because filmmaking in Colorado has to evolve to a higher level. Too many independent filmmakers here are working with such low budgets they make concessions in content and quality that affect the overall marketability of their projects. If the projects from Colorado are not marketable, they won't ever receive recognition, if they don't receive recognition, no one will take the Colorado film community seriously. It benefits us all to help each other make in-state projects the best they can possibly be. To accomplish this, Asgard is very open to the idea of co-producing with local filmmakers. With combined resources we can create far better projects with higher production value, and thus, a greater potential for marketability.
