Asgard Entertainment writes original scripts for all their in-house films. Because of this we like to create projects around the actors we put in our films. This is accomplished in a multi-stage process.

•  In our first stage of development we start with a story concept , create a general outline , develop character templates , and start the first draft of the script. All of this is based on the market research we obtain from a variety of sources in an effort to create a project with world-wide appeal.

•  In the second stage we hold a general monologue reading for local actors to come in and show us their range of skills and give us the opportunity to get a sense for personality traits and any special skills they may have.

•  Then the third stage begins where we break down the actors and the characters simultaneously. This allows us to place actors in roles which we already had realized, or adjust our characters to take advantage an actor's natural gifts. Our commitment is to cast the majority of our lead roles from the Colorado talent pool. This is not something we take lightly.

•  Next, we consider Hollywood name talent for up to two roles in each of our films. The actors that are brought in are meant to help promote the film, not to insinuate that talent in Colorado is lacking. Having Colorado actors alongside recognizable names is a benefit to the local actor and the film in both notoriety and marketability.

•  We complete and polish the script as our art department begins designing the look and feel for the film. All other departments use these images to design wardrobe, sets, special effects, and anything else that may be required when production starts.

•  Once everything is in order, production begins.

At any given moment Asgard Entertainment has three projects in development, so we are always looking for talent to inspire our creativity. We also work on many other films beyond our own. We will use the personal knowledge we have pertaining to local actors to use by putting these productions in touch with the appropriate agents and their specific talent whenever we can.
