Mark Grove met James Lew back in 1994. The two were set to star in a film together titled "Shadows the Path of Deception" that would pit thest two martial arts masters against one another in a film that mixed hyper-technology with Ninja action. Unfortunately the production company producing the film could not gather the required financing and like so many films, it drifted into limbo.
But Mark and James maintained their friendship and over the years continued discussing potential projects they could do together. However, both men were extremely busy in their individual careers and the right project never surfaced....until now.
"Tengu: The Immortal Blade", is scheduled to begin principle photography on March 7th 2011 in Denver Colorado. This film has an intricate storyline that spans centuries to bring legendary myth and legend from Japan into modern times.
