ASGARD ENTERTAINMENT will be hosting a variety of seminars and workshops focused on teaching filmmakers and performers a variety of subjects. We are also open to allowing instructors who teach film-related skills to use our facility to teach their classes.

PROJECT DEVELOPMENT SEMINAR

A one day seminar on how to create a project based on market research. Participants will be given a template to design a "Development Package" that will layout their project in detail. This information can then be utilized when they build an investment proposal in the later stages of the process.

ACTORS ARSENAL

The Actors Arsenal is a program taught in a workshop format that are focused on giving the actor real world knowledge in a variety of subjects beyond those found in traditional acting classes. These workshops are delivered in a boot camp fashion...no fluff...just solid techniques and information that better prepare the actor for work in the field. The ACTORS ARSENAL is not meant to replace on-going acting classes, but is instead an opportunity to reinforce those lessons by placing actors in environments where they must learn to bridge the gap between theory and practical application. We create scenarios that will challenge actors to step up their performance in actual ON-SET situations that make use of current technology combined with classic and modern acting and filming techniques. Subjects include: Exploring your Personality (Emotional Awareness / Monologues), Making the Connection (Two and Three Person Scene Study), Acting in Motion (Blending with Complex Camera Movement), Acting Alone (Working with Green Screen), and The power of the Spoken Word (Automatic Dialogue Replacement).

STUNT WORKSHOPS

Asgard's stunt workshops are two day events that are designed to take aspiring stunt performers, actors, extreme sports enthusiasts, or people who just have a flare for adventure on a journey filled with physical and mental challenges. These workshops will be focused on a variety of subjects, including: Fight choreography (European fighting, Eastern fighting, Western fighting, and Modern fighting), Taking the fall (Low falls, High falls, Linear falls, and Specialty falls), Wire work (Flying and Aerial maneuvers, Surface drags, Foot snares, Body suspension, and Jerk harness), Breakaways and environment interaction (Tables and chairs, Windows, Glassware, and Crates/Barrels/Sacks), Firearms (Revolvers, Semi-automatic pistols, Shotguns, and Automatic weapons ) , Precision driving (Car/Truck fundamentals, Control skills, Direction changes, and Hard stops), and Specialty stunts (Partial burns, Rappelling, Motorcycles, and Horsework). All of these workshops will include a certificate of completion.

SPECIAL EFFECTS SEMINARS

Many independent filmmakers in Colorado have requested that we run a seminar on Low-budget special effects. To accommodate this, we have decided to teach the first of what may evolve into many more seminars on the secrets of special effects. Please join us to learn the techniques of Bloodwork (multiple methods of making stage blood and gore effects, knife wounds and pneumatic blood effects).
